Whilst posting sound recordings on my blog and soundmap, the theory that we live in a visually dominant society was reinforced by the fact that there are built in applications to upload pictures and videos but no applications to upload sounds.
Its easy enough to get around by importing a player from a third party or creating a video for your sound but lets hope it isn't long before the importance of the sonic is fully realised and we get some built in sound players.
